Probably I'm gone. However, I have seen this kind of puzzle before, and is generally just as you wrote, except that no letter "L". And anyway, the answer is "Noel". But since selling started writing, I'm not really sure.

Again check and make sure you are absolutely right. I've always seen that without the "L" as abcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyz written. Without the L response is "it" is not ell "= Christmas.
