9 Month Old Staffy Photos We Have A 9 Month Old Staffy, And A Baby Due In March, Has Anyone Any Previous Experiences Or Advice On This?

We have a 9 month old staffy, and a baby due in march, has anyone any previous experiences or advice on this? - 9 month old staffy photos

It depends on the temperament of the dog, he / she is not aggressive, not allowing the dog near the baby. If the dog is not aggressive towards him and put a neck strap to be the first that someone is kept very well the leash and is in total control, to the dog away if it appears to be aggressive to the child. slowly and gently under the baby, the dog sniff the baby especially if you wish, you want the dog licking the baby is yours approved. if it is unpleasant, fell into this, ask your veterinarian to see a specialist in this area is recommended. If the dog ban on access to the child, the only increase their curiosity about the baby, which could lead to problems.

People with dogs have babies at any time. For example, my BF was 2 months old and a boxer puppy and loved. My other friend has a little dog when she learned she was Preggo and they were very good. I've never heard of a dog or puppy to hurt a child. The lady above is obviously never had a dog and is completely ignorant

First .... not automatically get rid of the dog! Race has nothing to do with anything in this case ... To the extent that you should be on the right track, all is well ... but not always the child from the dog, or to be jealous, and their aggression out ...
If the baby is born, someone who smells like a blanket (or similar) to the hospital, and the dog, and lay with her, if possible ...
Then when the baby comes out of the house catering. available, the smell of puppies, and if you want to lick the child, but also the baby down and had examined the dog heart, the baby .. only to pay attention that the dog is too excited and involved, or the PIN (only her happy, because some bully do) breeds ... not treat the dog as before, everything is different, we very quickly go .... If you need additional assistance, please send me an e-mail ... My son has always been a friend of this task was to work with me for a newborn, we have come a Dane and a Chihuahua and many other dogsWho are still at home ... and yes, it is usually up to you with these dogs ... but raised to respect all living things, and never alone with the dogs that we are not sure ... and have never been bitten and is not in danger from them, because these dogs have always protected ... and in relation to a person if the dogs do not know that anyone trying to enter the house or even close to my son, are the guardians ... and his best friends!

HELLO:)
In the same situation as a you.i 1 year old staffy 10mth and a German Shepherd and the number 3 because april. My baby in the family dog as long as I can remember were, and I can only give advice, worked for us in the past.
If the baby is born rather let the dog smell calm.when the smell of the baby and he is the reward when the baby comes home, make sure the dog is allowed to do everthing he / she did in the past, and try him / her same.Although should never leave the child with the dog alone, even for a second and no matter how much you trust him / her.
Good luck and enjoy your new arrival:):)

I do not know what a staffy ....... other responses I get is a dog. What is the temperament of the dogs? He is patient, tolerant dog? We had a Rottweiler and a border collie, before I my baby. The Rottweiler ignored the child, but the Border Collie is a little aggressive. Therefore, suppressing the Border Collie. He was 12 years and the pain of the legs as well as this, what I had said before the baby came home anyway. This was not an easy thing to do! And yet this is strange, but the health and well being of my baby is more important. Never leave your child alone in the well-Rottweiler. When our baby starts to crawl, if there are no signs of aggressive or Rottweiler think it will hurt the baby on the way to the fine. Nothing is more important than your baby!

It depends on the temperament of the dog, but also the gentlest dog can bite a child, without malice. I have dogs, and not far from my nephew all the time. These are large dogs (50-130 kg). Your dog will be jealous if you have bad tempers and like to bite, so the child can see together in the dog. Puppies bite particularly like to keep your dog and see the baby. They are so close in age, in probably the best friend! But until the child is not known to the tails of dogs and puppies in the pull-stop teething problems, not allow it to meet alone in a room where they are. Good luck!

My aunt had a staffy and discovered that she was pregnant. Each of us wonder wat it would be good and all very worried. if the baby is born and brought it home to let the dog smell, then locked in the kitchen with a safety barrier and then when someone came into his sound to them if they would be ending its doors for the baby in the vicinity consistent in your room. She sat all day gaurding it. My cousin is now almost 4 and has never harmed staffy. , Best friends, and if someone is a fighting game with my cousin and then your staffy is difficult to protect. So, in answer to your question I think you have nothing to worry about whether your dog has a good character
Good luck. x

Personally, I wouldnt be a dog near my baby. U Did you take the little innocent life, because a dog is attacked? Think of the pain and the boy their last minutes of life are to spend. He did not.
This is only my personal opinion, but. I know that some dogs are so familiar and wouldnt hurt a fly, but they can call at any time.
The girl Ellie, who was in the media for a while, enough to delay any mother dog.

I'm completely ignorant - far from it.
My friends 16 months a child has a scar on his stomach as he was apparently bitten by a "happy and friendly dog.

Like I said just my personal opinion is that I was a child was seriously injured by dogs know!
If you know your dog well enough and feel comfortable with him and then go for it!

Please do not call me know how you do not know me know so couldnt possibly!

Make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention and training, and ensure that we continue these things after the baby is born. If it is not always reliable sit in the basic commands (to travel, down, out, Come), the hard work of those now!

When the baby arrives, let the dog sniff, if you seem interested, and be sure to give positive attention while the baby. My dog has insisted on touching the head of my child with her nose in every 10-15 minutes for the first day and becomes very annoying when a visitor is to keep the baby and not let them play.

Once you are up, the baby in a sling, dog leash, and take a walk. "Never" (not even for a minute!) Have the child and dog together unsupervised.

Good luck!

I know how you feel. I have a German mastiff / German shepherd, and my second child is due in July. I'm worried, as things go, but I am doing everything possible to help adjust to Duke early. We have only had it for 7 months, but the agreement with the family and comfortble. I do not think you should get rid of puppies, just because you're a child on the way .. they can take care! Duke is already used for my 2 years so that I will no doubt have to be that great for the new baby. Check out this site below ... I have many good information. Good luck

I know that families with dogs and babies. I think it depends really depends the temperament of the dogs. I suggest, by the dog to participate in a training course. It is not left alone with the baby, have their own area to be in.

I hope you know how much attention these dogs need. Play, exercise and above all, socialization is a must .. be correct bad behavior immediately and consistently! when the baby comes (congrats.) have to let your dog know that your child dominates him / her. My brother breeds American Stafford Shire Terrier and has two young children / we have never had problems with this .. I wish you much luck and I hope this helps.
